With summer just around the corner a lot of you are counting the days until the festival season begins. Although you might have your wellies and flower hair bands at the ready, let’s not forget about the most important accessory, your nails! For that occasion I prepared a quick tutorial for a fun tie dye design. You can customise the colours to suit your style or you can go colourful and fun like me and stick with bright neons! Let’s have a look.

Essentials

• White nail polish (OPI – It’s in the Cloud)
• A set of neon shades ( Models Own – Turquoise Sea, Malibu Pink, Beach Bag, Sarong Wrap)
• A detail brush (ÜberChic Beauty)
• Top coat (Glisten&Glow HK Girl)

How to

Start with 1-2 layers of a white nail polish and wait for it to dry. A white base will help your neon shades to pop. Grab hold of your detail brush and begin to create your first swirl with a blue nail polish (Models Own – Turquoise Sea). Continue to add colours in the same manner overlapping them slightly as you go. Add and blend here and there to make sure you have a nice even swirl and colour arrangement. Seal your design with a layer of top coat.
